Product story

A Clear Visual Direction for a Coordinated Collection

The illustrated landscape card uses its horizontal format to carry a small scene rather than a single dominant portrait. A light central field keeps several illustrated details visible, while a colorful border establishes the outer frame. The scene and surround have different jobs: one carries the story, the other gives the card a recognizable edge.

For custom printing, prepare the scene at its intended horizontal crop. Small characters, props and lines should remain distinct after the artwork is reduced to card size. The decorative border needs enough separation from the scene to avoid swallowing the lightest details, especially near the corners.

If a border accent is required, create a mask that follows the intended decoration without covering the central illustration. Holographic or foil treatment can be discussed for selected areas, but the final process and substrate must be confirmed. A broad reflective surround and a quiet central surface should be compared together so the finish does not overwhelm the scene.

Send the complete illustration, border file, reverse layout and quantity. Explain whether the design will be used as an individual art card, part of a narrative series or a gift insert. Include the proposed finished format and separate any holder or packing requirement from the printed-card scope.
